Dear Fremont Federal Credit Union Members,
We want to inform you about an important change coming to our Online and Mobile Banking services, effective Monday, October 16th.
Starting October 16th, there will be a modification to the password attempt policy for our Online and Mobile Banking platforms. Members will be allowed up to 5 password attempts before facing a temporary lockout. After this alteration, once you reach the 6th attempt, you will be automatically locked out of Online Banking. To regain access, you will need to contact a Fremont Federal Credit Union Member Service Representative for assistance.
Why the Change?
This adjustment is being made to enhance the security of your account and to protect against unauthorized access. By limiting the number of password attempts, we can better safeguard your sensitive financial information.
What Actions Can You Take?
To guarantee uninterrupted access to your accounts, it's crucial to establish a strong yet memorable password. We highly recommend crafting a password that incorporates a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. In the event you forget your password, just click on the "forgot password" link in the online banking app, input your username, and follow the prompts to reset your password. If you need assistance with the password reset process, don't hesitate to contact one of our friendly Member Service Representatives at 419-334-4434.
