COVID-19 Update

It is astounding how much change we have endured in the last several months. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic required us all to take a step back. We are focused on helping our members and employees cope with social distancing measures and new safety precautions, implementing changes to the ways we serve members, and adjusting to the economic uncertainty that has impacted our members and community.

Fortunately, as we entered this pandemic, your credit union remains in a sound financial position to weather this storm. Now more than ever, Fremont Federal Credit Union continues to stay committed to assisting you during these uncertain times.

As always, the health, safety, and well-being of our members, employees, and our communities are of paramount concern. We will continue to monitor the situation and implement instantaneous changes to ensure a high level of safety and follow State and CDC guidelines to ensure that your experience with us is safe and pleasant. As you may know, the state of Ohio issued a mandate regarding the use of masks in public places to combat the spread of the coronavirus to which, in turn, has affected the requirement for mask usage in our branches. As of 6:00 p.m. on July 23, members and visitors are currently required to wear a mask upon entering any branch lobby. Your cooperation is appreciated as we strive to keep our employees and members safe, as we will continue to practice social distancing and limit the number of members allowed inside at one time.

As always, we will continue to clean counters, door handles, desks, phones, and other equipment in our office multiple times throughout the day. Like other organizations, we are accepting guidance from the CDC, which recommends regular cleaning as one of the most substantial preventive measures.

While we sincerely love interacting with our Members in person, today's digital tools like online and mobile banking, P2P payments, mobile deposits, and real-time account alerts make it easy to do many financial tasks from home and enhance efforts to stay safe and healthy. We have developed several new programs and services to aid our members through this difficult time, such as an Emergency Assistance Loan, Skip-a-Payment extension, and a Home Equity Line of Credit payment plan, to name a few.
