FRAUDSTERS TARGETING FREMONT FEDERAL CREDIT UNION MEMBERS AND OTHER
FINANCIAL INSTITUTION CUSTOMERS WITH SCAM TEXTS AND PHONE CALLS

We've noticed a concerning rise in fraudulent activity affecting the financial industry, including Fremont Federal Credit Union.
Scammers are using deceptive text messages and phone calls to gain unauthorized access to member accounts.

Important points to remember:

1. Fraudsters pretend to be FFCU representatives through texts and calls.
2. They may follow up with a call appearing as Fremont Federal CU to get your personal information.
3. FFCU will NEVER ask for sensitive info via texts, calls, or emails.

Protect yourself:

• NEVER click on links, call provided numbers, or share personal details through text, email, or website links.
• DO NOT provide security codes sent via text or email.
• If you receive suspicious communication, delete it and call us directly at (419) 334-4434.
