FFCU Trade Mastery Scholarship

Fremont Federal Credit Union offers the Trade Mastery Scholarship to graduating high school seniors who are pursuing careers in the skilled trades. Scholarship awards are used to purchase approved tools, equipment, or required supplies to support recipients as they begin their trade or apprenticeship.

Applicants and/or their parent or legal guardian must be a member of Fremont Federal Credit Union in good standing as of January 1 of the previous calendar year.

Applicants are evaluated based on the following:

Academic Performance (minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50)
School Involvement and Leadership
Community Involvement and Service
Completion of all required application questions and materials

Application requirements:

A completed, typed application
Two letters of recommendation:
- One from a school representative
- One from a non-school source (employer, volunteer supervisor, or organization leader)
An official or counselor-verified high school transcript
Any additional documentation requested during the review process
Participation in an interview with the Scholarship Committee, if selected
